Point Reyes Reclamation & Restoration (PRRR)

Point Reyes Reclamation and Restoration (PRRR) advocates for the gradual sunsetting of ranching leases (permits) in Point Reyes National Seashore (PRNS) and for increasing funding for this severely underfunded park. Ultimately, PRRR wants to see that all of the lands within the park boundaries be used for the natural world and for recreation, not commercial activity. However PRRR acknowledges the need to collaborate with the local West Marin community, a community that is predominantly agricultural.

 

PRRR’s advocacy work takes place in person a the Bear Valley Visitor Center (in PRNS), at other appropriate locations, and on social media. PRRR also advocates by organizing and producing events and by some lobbying of state and federal agencies.
