The Racial Equity in Energy Project’s mission is to drastically increase minority-led community-based organizations’ impact on their communities.
The two main objectives of the REEP project are:
1. to help communities of color make real and measurable improvements in energy resilience and decarbonization, starting with African-American communities.
2. ensure communities of color are positioned to receive more than a proportional share of the trillions of dollars in wealth transfer that will occur as the US transitions into a clean energy economy.
