People of the Forest is an impact organization centered on Indigenous food sovereignty and reforestation in the Brazilian Amazon. We help develop community-led models designed to be adapted and scaled, and ultimately shared with other bioregions.
We help to regenerate degraded land while strengthening Indigenous food sovereignty, ecological leadership, knowledge sharing, seed-saving, and community resilience.
Our work is grounded in our ethos: The Forest and Its People are One Living System.
